Kate Tempest: New Album 'Everybody Down'
Big Dada are pleased to announce the signing of Kate
Tempest to the label with her album 'Everybody Down'.
Kate is best known as a poet, perhaps a performance poet or a
spoken word artist. She also has a novel coming out next year with
Bloomsbury. But ask Kate what she is and she's more likely
to say she's a rapper. That's her true and first love. More of
Skinnyman than Seamus Heaney, more of Deal Real's
legendary Friday night rap battles than a book signing and reading at
Foyles. 'Everybody Down' has twelve "chapters"
telling one long, inspired story, a unique, one-off project and comes
produced in its entirety by Dan Carey (Bat For Lashes,
M.I.A + Hot Chip).

Slow Club: Free Download 'Tears Of Joy'
Slow Club are set to play a one off, full band show at London's Village Underground on May 13th. The last month has seen them performing stripped back sets at Koko and St Pancras Old Church as a two piece, showcasing the stunning material from their forthcoming third album.
